POLEKO will host the participants of the Youth Climate Summit for the second time. The event is organised by "Gazeta Wyborcza", Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie and the City of Poznań. Finalists of the nationwide competition organised by "Gazeta Wyborcza" for the best film promoting energy saving will attend the summit. Hundreds of children from all over Poland will gather in Poznań to adopt a message to the participants of the UN climate change conference to be held in Copenhagen in December. This conference is to become a venue for signing a global agreement on climate protection. Youths will also participate in energy saving workshops prepared by Aeris Futuro Foundation. A message to the summit participants will be sent by Jerzy Buzek, President of the European Parliament and Connie Hedegaard, Danish Minister of Climate and Energy. The winners of the competition will travel to Copenhagen during the climate change conference.
